The protected Palace of Justice is a courthouse and administrative building in Munich-Maxvorstadt. The distinctive glass dome on the roof of the neo-baroque building dominates the cityscape at Munich's Karlsplatz (Stachus).

The Palace of Justice is the seat of the Bavarian Ministry of Justice and hosts occasional exhibitions dealing with the subject of justice.

GFR refurbishes building automation during operation

The comprehensive refurbishment during ongoing operations took place in 2012 and comprised, among other things, the enhancement of safety in the building and fire protection. In addition, the renewal of the building automation systems was implemented.

GFR was just as significantly involved in a smooth transition during the renovation period as it was after the reconstruction. Thanks to intelligent control solutions in the field of measurement and control technology/building automation, a completely new sense of comfort has been created in this historic, heritage-protected building. The Palace of Justice Munich, automated by GFR, does not only impress with its great façade but also with its "inner values" and stands out with its impressive energy efficiency.
